(More customer reviews)The tripod feels solid and balances well. Loved the height adjustments; it allowed me to get my camcorder high enough to not have images blocked by people walking by. The downside, however, is that when panning across, it would stick and then jerk as you kept applying pressure. When using zoom on the camera, it made for very jerky images. Don't know if it is because the plastic parts would swell in the heat (it was over 85 degrees) and sun. Others I've talked with have said they experience the same problem with different brands. I'll have to see if lubricating the joint will help.
